ASUS A8N-VM CSM and 3500+

I recently upgraded my computer. got a ASUS A8N-VM CSM mobo and an Athlon 64 3500+ Venice, with the 64 bit version of xp. i read after i got them that the mobo and that cpu dont play nicely together until i update the bios. which bios do i need to get and how do i install that? i dont have any other cpus thatll work with taht mobo so im not sure how to flash the bios without that any suggestions on which one to get, and how to put it on there?
