asus a8n-vm csm + 4800+ x2 - temps, are they right?

i just got this comp setup and i ran asus probe 2 v1.00.43 (latest) and my temps for cpu were 47-51 degrees celcius.

i did the latest bios update and now my temps read 31 degrees celcius and i believe the bios reads somewhre between 31 and 35.

my first amd so just wann make sure i get things right. thx 😉
 
well, now, since the bios update.

it idles anywhere from 26-31 and during load it'll go from 31-40.

this is what asus probe is telling me.
