ASUS A8N-SLI: What fan is this and where can I get a replacement? (picture inside)

I've only had my ASUS A8N-SLI motherboard for about six months but I'm already having problems with a particular fan.

What is happening is that the fan makes a horrible sound and feels VERY hot (too hot to hold my finger on it).

So, I need a fan or a fan/heatsink. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

thats the chipset fan...you can find a replacement at newegg i believe

What chipset is it? (what do I search for on Newegg?)

Also, what's a quality replacement fan/heatsink? The one ASUS includes is apparantly garbage.

contact ASUS and tell 'em you need a replacement fan for your mobo cuz your fan crapped out. They'll send you one of the need improved ones (quieter and lower rpm's). Or else use the passive Zalman. I did cuz it could fit between my 2 6600GT's with Zalman video coolers.

I contacted ASUS and got a replacement fan. Takes about a week. The old fan died on me. POS. I had to tie an old video card fan to the heatsink after uninstalling the old fan as a stopgap during the week I had to wait for the new fan. Dental floss + old fan + old heatsink = emergency HSF combo.
