when I push start, the fans whirl for PSU and Northbridge a seccond and nothing happens. After you push start again after trying the first time absolutely no response. When the PSU is turned on it simply has a little green Light on the bottom showing power. The
I've tried 4different working Ram chips in diff slots.
Working CPU (jst replaced)
switched vidio card,
Tried different PSU

Currupted BIOS? It was working fine when I turned it off, tryed turning it on 5mins later and these are the symptoms.

you should use the cmos jumpers and try it, if you don't have the speaker on it won't post and that's what happened to me once...

try it out

good points, but it will post without a speaker.

reset cmos (if you havent already), and power it on with a speaker plugged in.
They do have a voice error report, but it if your system doesnt post you will not hear it.

Reset the cmos. Break everything down to the bare minimum. 1 stilck of ram, video card, 1 hd. Make sure the you have the 24pin main and not an adapter. Make sure the 12 volt is properly attached. Also what powersuply are you using?

have 3 of em, 400w Antec truepower.. or somethin (replaced by....) 450w PSU dont remember name (good name) and a new 500w Ultra PSU I've tried from ym other system.

I have broken down to 1 ram chip, and 1 working video card. As soon as I get back I'll try and reset the MB.. haven't done that yet.. keep the suggestions coming.

I'll update when I reset MB, (at work now, done at 11pm)

Damn dude, An asus board dying? That's rare
