Crucial Ballistix. I haven't overclocked yet, but at stock it works perfectly. It reads the SPD, and runs the RAM at 2-2-2-8 1T automatically.

Currently running Corsair 2x CMX512-3200C2 v5.1 and have successfully overclocked FSB to 235MHz while backing off timings (I think a more typical reliable overclock for these is 210MHz). A64 3500+ seems just peachy during overclocks. Just ordered the following:

G.Skill Model F1-3200DSU2-1GBLD (Samsung TCCD, PC4400)

That is, unless someone can point out a reason this would be a bad idea?

Wish me luck!

I just bought the OCZ Plat 2 for my new board, based on the 10/1 review at AT. Hope mine works out as well as Bap's and GDaddy's :)

Everyone is running (2) 512MB modules, which I understand is optimum for TCCD. Does anyone have a recommendation for 1GIG modules, for a ram total of 2GIG, dual channel? There has to be a bad ass 1GB module that will run 250mhz... someone? *begs*

Here is some (great timings for 1024 modules) that should be able to reach 250mhz if you relax the timinings , but DAMN!! too rich for my blood. You could build a pretty nice complete system for the price Newegg wants for these babies.

century child, I was wondering why you chose memory that runs at 550mhz. Doesn't the Asus board only run at 400mhz?

I ordered the MUSHKIN DUAL 1GB(512X2) DDR400 R

I should have my board in 2-3 days from ZZF (currently 199.99 + Free 2nd day)

I'll let you know as soon as soon as I can.

Curious... Is this 1t or 2t? What voltage are you using? What's your Sandra Bandwidth?

How about this Mushkin PC3200 Value RAM for $137 at newegg?? I'm planning on buying cheap(er) RAM based largely on Zebo's "official 939 memory matrix" thread, and common reports of the law of diminishing returns (say on $240 OCZ Platinum).

I'm still having problems picking RAM.. mainly because I dont understand parts of it. what do the #-#-#-# mean? and what would be a good choice and why? I want to get the best RAM but would also like to understand what exactly im suppose to look 4 in RAM :)
