36gb raptor 250gb sata's
win xp pro.i got this computer at garage sale price.
the man had varios problems.
one time i boot ntldr missing.next time it boots.
pulled the raptor and put in 120 gb sata in it.booted to let me install win xp pro
went to update to sp 2,and reboots with xp screen then bsod (unreadable too fast)
took out 2xgb ram that were marked cruical and samsung on same modual 'same deal.
i don't know what to do next.have pulled power cord and battery.help please.
also my spelling sucks?
i'm sure i have messed this post up,i'm an old newbie at repair of this cal. computer.
 
update
with the sata cable the same i reinstalled xp pro,the install took but installed on drive d:???? computer works somewhat better!
 
You should disable automatic restart to read the BSOD messages (System Properties -> Advanced -> Startup and recovery; uncheck automatic restart.)
