this is the first board I have seen with this. I was just getting used to that extra 4 plug jobby! Do I need to plug it in if I have no SLI ??? Thanks, Dave

If you are speaking of the one that looks like a standard 4pin power supply plug that would normally go into a CD Rom or a HDD...no you do NOT need it unless you run a SLI configuration on your M/B

Yes, that was my question precisely. Thanks. New rig is running better and better. I think it really liked the Nvdia IDE drivers Downloaded the newest from their site. dave
