Hi,

I have just about all the parts to my new pc except for the motherboard. I think i am gonna go with either the ASUS A8N-SLI Premium or EPoX EP-9NPA SLi. What do you all think is better?

I have a Opteron 170 and 4GB (4 x 1GB) of PQI Power PC3200 (already had it for 6 months).. I don't plan on overclocking it to the max but i do plan on overclocking it a bit..

Personally, I'd take the AN8-SLI board from Abit. It has been a rock solid board for me. In fact, it has been the most stable of any I have ever owned. That's after 5 NF7-S rev 2 boards and several Asus NF1 and a NF4 board. Also, I'm not exactly sure how your machine is going to take that PQI stuff. I just tried 4 512mb sticks in my box and it wouldn't post with that but it worked great with the 2 512mb OCZ LL sticks I've got in there now. PQI isn't a bad brand, but I sure woulda liked to know why it wouldn't work with 4 sticks in my box.
