I've got an X2 4200+ with XP90 heatsink. The heatsink overhang is over the heatsink attached to the heatpipe on the chipset.

When at idle with the bios hardware monitor page on screen, by CPU is 28-29C and the M/B temp is 37-38C.

What is the M/B temp actually measuring and where is the sensor? What is the normal range for the M/B temp?

My System generally runs about 37C idle, and the highest I've seen under load is 46-47C.

I'm not OC'ing and I'm using the stock cooler, so your temps are excellent.
