Asus A8N SLI Premium doesn't POST

Just got a new AN8 Premium from the egg and it seems to be DOA. I've tried everything to get this sucker to POST. Board will not beep and Asus Post Reporter doesn't say a word when the board is barebones (no CPU, no memory, no video). Board is powered by a 500w Fortron Blue Storm. Only thing running on the PSU is the board; connected via the 24 pin and the 12V 4 pin connector. The green LED on the board does come on but other than that nothing. Any suggestions welcome. How fast is Asus RMA?

Just for grins here's a list of my other components:

AMD 3800X2
Sapphire X800GTO2 (tried an old Matrox PCI as well)
OCZ 2x1gb PC3200 Platinum Kit (tried some old Infineon as well)

Thanks for the reply. I initially tried running it fully loaded (3 hard drives, a DVD-ROM, a DVD burner, PCI-E video, 2gb memory, 3 fans) with the same result no POST. I then systematically eliminated more and more components until I ran it completly barebones. At no point did the board POST, beep or do anything other than turn on the green LED.

OK decision time. I can't afford to wait on Asus support for weeks on end to replace my board. Should I go ahead and order another Asus Premium board chalking this one up as pure bad luck? Or should I go with the DFI LanParty Ultra-D instead? The bad thing is that I don't have another CPU that fits the 939 socket nor do I have another PSU with a 24 pin connector. I'm half tempted to buy a Athlon 64 3000+ and a second PSU just to make sure it's the board that's bad. I could use these parts to build a second PC since I have some old memory and video card flying around. Just not sure what to do here. Don't want to waste a ton of money, on the other hand I think I'd flip if I get a new board and it doesn't work either. This isn't the first system I've build, but I've never had a system not POST at all. Can somebody confirm that the Asus Post Reporter is on by default?
