Anyone noticed that there's a non-deluxe version of the A8N-SLI on the Asus global web site?
As far as I can tell it seems to be identical to the deluxe, but drops the 2nd RAID and the 2nd NIC. This would seem to be a much more desirable board for most people. I have no use for a 2nd NIC or the kludged HW+SW RAID 5 implementation on the deluxe.
However, I haven't heard a peep about it in the press or seen any sign of it at the online vendors. It also doesn't appear on the North American Asus web site. I emailed Asus about it, but they just replied with a list of online vendors.
Does any know if this thing actually exists and if/when it might be available in the US?
