asus a8n -sli motherboard questions

I recently put togeather a new pc using the above motherboard
Plus
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Winchester 90nm (Socket 939)
Asus A8N-SLi nForce4 SLi (Socket 939)
Corsair 1GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x512MB) CAS2
Gigabyte GeForce 6800 GT 256MB DDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 Plus 250GB ST3200822AS SATA 8MB Cache SE)

Pioneer DVR-109 16 x 16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter -
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS 7.1 THX Sound Card
Enermax noise taker600w psu

For some reason the onboard lan connection seems to need to be reset each time I restart my pc
Is there something simple I have overlooked

Im using this outlet for an adsl connection

Can any one advise me on what and where I can find the latest stable drivers for this board

The exact details of which ones I need would be most helpful

Would any one reccommend flashing the bios to the latest bios

Just the regular

Btw the lan outlet is working now

But occasionally it has a red cross through it in network connections

Not sure why
