asus a8n sli dlx 1013 final released

I still have the 1004 bios but I'm getting a Venice, so I guess I'll have to update. Which bios is proven to work well? Should I go for this new 1013?
 
If you'll notice, ASUS has a bit of a warning on using the 1013 BIOS. Note the references to both the 6.65 and 6.66 nVidia Chipset drivers....

To avoid crashing file system, please do update the chipset driver to below version prior to this Bios.
For WinXP 32bit system, please download and update chipset drivers V6.65 or later

This is screwy--but according to Asus, you need to be running the 6.65 driver pack from Asus if you are using XP. Seems Asus goofed and have specific driver versions for XP and W2K, when updating to any of the newer bios.

 
I am using 1013 with the 6.66:evil: drivers on XP SP2.
I updated (to 1013) last Thursday, and have had no problems. I haven't tried any OCing yet. Hopefully I will have sometime to play this weekend.

Where does asus mention this? The public patch notes just list 6.65 or later, which I assume 6.66 is fine.
 
I updated because I like to have all the new drivers and I just reformatted my computer last night. When I was gathering all the new drivers I noticed the new 1013BIOS and I thought the warning meant I needed to update in order to run the new nVidia drivers so I did. I think my dyslexia kicked in when I read the warning but so far everything is running very nicely! I?m curious how that O.C.ing is since I haven?t had the time to get to in depth with the BIOS settings.

I?m sure not going to hold my breath for the 1t fix?
 
I have removed all current nvidia drivers and installed 6.65(Asus). However, when I updated the bios to 1013 (old 1011) I receive corrupt or missing /windows/drivers/inf/biosinfo.inf and cannot boot. After flashing back to 1011 all is well. Even after attempted to repeat steps with 6.66(Nvidia) drivers same issue will occur. Either drivers work fine after install. Its just when I flash bios (dos or asus update) that the issue becomes present.

P.S. I did use ghost a while back to restore but, haven't had issue. (For whoever asked about ghost a while back)
