I am about to receive an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe mobo. I currently have an Antec TruePower430 and I do not know if it will work with my new mobo. I understand that the new mobos have a 24pin atx connector. I have an offer to trade some stuff for a Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-550, which I believe does have 24pin atx support. My question is, should I get that new antec power supply or would my old one work? I've searched antec's website to see what kind of atx connection the 430 has and I couldn't find anything here

Here is the info for the Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-550.

Thanks

Your existing Antec Truepower 430W will work just fine in the ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe mobo, eventhough that PSU is a 20-pin ATX.

Yeah, it surely works, as I use the 20-pin Antec Truecontrol with an ASUS A8N-SLI 24-pin mobo, which is running solid 24/7 since January this year.

are you overclocking? I am planning on adding either a X800XL or a 6800GT card, wonder if I would need more power if I want to OC and use on of those cards.

You should be able to OC your system just fine, since the Truepower 430W has more than enough current (26Amps) on its 12V rail.
