Hello and thank you for checking my thread! Here is my prob..

mboard= asus a8n-sli deluxe
cpu= amd athlon 64 3500+ socket 939, 90nm core
ram= crucial ballistix 2 x 1 gig ddr4000 (500mhz) (cl 3 - trcd 4 - trp 4 - tras 8)

Basically when i set my bios to:

CPU Configuration Menu
Hyper Transpoirt Frequency = 5x (wether i set this to 1x or 5x it seems to have no effect?)

Jumper Free Configuration Menu
Overclock Profile = Manual
CPU Frequency = 240.0
PCI Express Clock = 100mhz
DDR Voltage = 2.80v
CPU Multiplier = 11x
CPU Voltage = 1.525v

This Works Really Nicely at pumping my CPU up to 2640 Mhz.. however what i have noticed is i take a hit in memory transfer speed...

Memtest-86-v3.2 = 2149MB/s

So then what i do is go back into the bios and Change the following:

CPU Configuration / Dram configuration Menu

Max Memclock = ddr500

Now that pumps up my memory transfer speed..

Memtest-86-v3.2 = 28**MB/s (** = forget the actual number)

But the problem here is that it kills my cpu gain by setting the jumper free settings back to automatic and killing my nice cpu gain.. if i go back and change the jumper free it then sets max memclock to auto again thus killing the transfer gain on the ram.

Anyone know how to run this config properly?

What can i do here? does anyone have any idea how i can get this computer running up to par with my hardware .. im thinking im missing something!

If you want to see the bios go here:
