What'd you expect? Its going to be expensive! This just makes me hopefull of having the other Nforce4 boards so I can get my new system going. 🙂

Only problem with these boards is the lack of PCI-e graphic cards available, other than the 6600GT. I think I'll wait until I can buy a 6800GT PCI-e card at MSRP, along with this motherboard at MSRP. May be a month or so, but I'll have saved a ton of cash.

I view it as sort of like buying viability insurance for a high-end graphics card. It makes sense for some people, and you could easily save way more than that if you buy, say, a second 6800GT a year from now instead of investing in the latest high-end card. An SLI rig with today's high-end cards and a decent processor should last for years.
