ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe Chipset Temperature?

I have just finished putting everything back together after watercooling my CPU and Video Card. I replaced that annoying chipset fan on the motherboard with a big passive heatsink. The motherboard is reporting itself to be at 29C right now, but a temperature probe I have sitting on top of the heatsink is at 59C right now. I know there's no way the motherboard is reporting its temperature correctly, and this seems really hot to me. Is it hot enough to worry about?

Thoughts anyone?
