Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe Bios Flash?

Say I want to flash to the newest 1004.001 bios right now... but if I don't like it, can I backward flash it to 1003? I dont want to be stuck in a beta bios if it doesnt cooperate with me

Is there something in the bios upgrade that is going to fix a problem you have?

Thats the thing I dont know.. I want to see if it fixes my IDE timing problem... but if it doesnt, I want to flash back to a stable final bios

You can always flash back to previous , or another, bios.

In the Asus Windows Flash util, just make sure the box is checked that allows you to flash an earlier BIOS version, and you can.
