I AM NEWBIE AND WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS ANY EXPERIENCE WITH A8N SLI DELUXE AND AMD DUAL CORE. ALSO USING A EVGA 6800 GT. ANY ASSISTANCE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

Was thinking the same thing. I've got the A8N-SLI Deluxe now and was thinking about the X2 in it. Anyone got one of these paired up yet? What about reviews wit them?

I have an a8n-sli deluxe and am using x2 now. Works good.

Many of the early reviews were done on A8N-SLI's and Asus was the first to produce and X2 bios I believe

Just set mine up and the stock HS fan sounds like a jet airplane on the 4200+X2

Got a question for all, based on my config below, XP 32 is reporting 1 core, while x64 displays 2...leads me to believe that I am missing something somewhere.

What I have done:
Tried both BIOS 1008 $ 1010.2
Updated Processor Drivers

I can also tell the difference between both OSs when I use the task manager: again on x32 one cpu display, x64 2...also benchmarks are nearly half that of referenced CPUs on PCMARK05 and SANDRA...Any thoughts? Thanks!
