I currently have Corsairs twinx1024-3200XL (2x512M) runnint at 2-2-2-5 in my Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard. I was really thinking about going to 2GB of ram by adding another set of twinx1024-3200XL to fill all four slots. However I don't want to take a hit with the performance. I've heard everything from you'll have to run at CAS 2.5-3, to 2T and 333Mhz. Does anyone know if I'll be able to use all 4 slots with this ram and not take that big of a hit? Or even if you have other ram and using 4 slots please post.

Thanks,

Using four DIMM slots will always take a performance hit. It's mainly dependant on which CPU core that you've got. With older cores such as the NewCastle, ClawHammer and Winchester line will take a massive performance hit with four sticks of ram at their stock speeds since it'll all be set to 2T at 333MHz.

With newer cores such as the Venice, San Diego, Manchester and Toledo, you only take a small hit down to 2T.
