I'm having a problem with my computer, my bios to be exact. I came home one day after work and tried to boot my computer and nothing happened, just a black screen and no beeps. So I replaced the bios battery and cleared the cmos, I then placed the motherboard driver cd in and rebooted. It brought me to a screen that said it was trying to rewrite my flash memory (I think it said this, it flashed by quickly and I couldn?t get it to come back up).
After that it booted up to windows xp just fine, so I updated the bios and the chipset drivers. It worked fine for 2 days, until it started over again and now I can?t fix it, just boots up to a black screen and nothing else.
P.S. I'm no genius with computers so any help would be appreciated. If nothing else works im just going to buy a new mobo.
