anyone have an update on the release date for these boards ... especially the ASUS A8N-E Premium board?? Really want to get one ... but dont want to wait till 05 to get it ... 🙂

b.b...bbb....but i wanted to put my echo midi mia sound card in thereeeeeeee??? i hope some of the nforce4 boards will have both PCI-E and AGI!!

unless this PCI-E is only for gfx cards?

There are PCI slots, which is what a sound card would use. Did you look at the picture or read the description?
1 - 16x PCI-e
3 - 1x PCI-e
3 - Regular PCI

AGP is only for video cards.

Well, their AX8 K8T890 mobo was actually announced almost a month ago, but still no sign of when it will be available, so I'm not gonna hold my breath. On the other hand, I imagine nVidia's gonna push pretty hard to get some boards out, so that they can plop their 6600GT cards into them.

Actually, you really do not want to have a board that offers both AGP And PCI-E, because from what I have read, the performance of the AGP slot suffers dramatically (mirros PCI bandwith) when on the same board with PCI-Express.

It is possible to connect one serial port over a bracket. (blue connecteur near the red Sata 1 connectors)
