ASUS A8N-E memory (Corsair) upgrade

Hi to all,

I was planning on making a memory upgrade, dual-channel 2gb kit.

I want to go with Corsair, as OCZ has been giving me nothing but compatibility issues/troubles (memtest86 errors, etc)

I presently have a 1gb dual-channel kit, but with the release and hog of Battlefield 2, I want more out of my performance.

I am presently running an x800 XL 256 and it runs nicely, but I want something better. My next step after this memory upgrade will be a 7800 GTX, but that will come in time.

Can any of you link me with the best setup for my motherboard, and that will also have the possibility to be compatible with future ASUS motherboards?

Thanks!

I have Corsair CMX1024-3200c2pt (2x1gb), and it is AWESOME.

Give it 2.8-2.9volts, and you can OC it pretty high. It'll take more voltage, too- if necessary.

Thanks for the input.

Considering I buy this RAM, how do I go about making certain that my DRAM configurations are set to the RAM settings? Are there any standards I need to follow? I'm very new at this entire DRAM configuration.

As is, my RAM, I just put it in, and it works. Why is it that some RAM have specific parameters? I have read and researched it, but I'm still really confused.

Thanks again

Oh..and I'm not really interested in overclocking, I just want good performance out of the equipment I get.
