Asus A8N-E I can't set latency at 2.0 and Corsair ram

Hello all. I have a Asus A8N-E mobo, 2 GB of Corsair Twinx2048-3200c2, AMD dual core 4200+. Running memtest 86, it gives me errors when I set latency at 2.0, after about 40 minutes, but so far, a latency of 2.5 is OK. Ram voltages of 2.75 or 2.80 make no difference, I still get errors at 2.0 latency
Everything in the bios is at default, except for the ram settings of 2 3 3 6. Some have told me that with AMD setups, a latency of 2.0 may not work, while the Ramguy over at the Corasair forum says I should be able to use 2.0 with this ram I have . I would think he should know. Anyone running 2.0 latency with Corsair ram and the A8N-E?
Thanks

the corsair ram i run is rated at 2.0 also but only runs at 2.5 on amd.ram tech support at corsair told me it mite but most likely it will run 2.5 and 2.0 on intel.
im running corsair xms 3200c2 2/512 sticks on an asus a8n-e.it runs like a champ at 248htt 1 to 1 with the cpu at 2.5,3,3,7 1T.voltage is 2.65 and corsair told me 2.70v but it runs with lower volts and is prime 95 solid for 24hrs.benchmarks are great and i cant believe the difference between 2.0 and 2.5 can be much at all.most amd fans are running at 2.5 vs 2.0 from what ive read and corsair confirms this.

Thanks, I appreciate your post.
The Ramguy said a few days ago I should be able to do 2.0 with my ram and the A8N-E .
Their test PDF for the A8N-E and the Twinx2048-3200c2 still says 2.5, but I see some postings where they say they have revised it to 2.0
When I first did Memtest86, at the 2.5 settings, I had it going for around 10 hours with no problem.
You are probably right, not much difference between 2.0 and 2.5
I was trying to get Battlefield 2 to run at the best settings possible, that's a game that really tests your ram.
