Asus A8n-e and windows not recognizing Raid 0

I just finished putting together this computer. In the Bios, i set my a8n-e to detect my two maxtor drives as a raid array, then i pressed F10 and set the raid array as striping (raid 0) and began to install windows. now the problem is that windows does not see the raid array, it sees two 120gb drives instead of one 240gb drive. what am i doing wrong?

After reading through some other forums, i read that i have to install 3rd party drivers through F6. I tried that but i'm not sure if i put the right drivers onto the floppy disk. If someone can explain to me how to put the drivers from the asus cd onto a floppy i would greatly appreciate it. Also if anyone else has had this problem, could they please tell me what the did to fix it. thanks in advance.

Did you also activate the two drives for RAID in the MoBo BIOS (Onboard Devs / NVRAID config)?
The Two drives you stripe have to be set to "enabled" there.
You only need the "F6" when planning on installing windows fresh on the RAID array. Otherwise Windows will detect the drives automatically.
