I have the above mother board. I am running windows xp Sp2

My problem is I cannot get the standby or hybernate function active. The hybernate tab is missing.
Even the stand by button on shut down screen is not active.

Something wrong with the board?

wtf is "mno"? Also, please don't bump posts in less than a few hours... you are not having a critical problem.

In any case, I think you need to enable power management, at either the BIOS and/or OS level. I would ask in the Motherboards or Operating Systems forum, or wait and see if someone with one of these boards wanders along in here...
 
Did you install your motherboard drivers? Power management may not work properly until you do.

In Device Manager make sure that your "Computer" device is listed as an "ACPI Uniprocessor PC". If it's a "Standard PC" then power management is not available.

This can be due to ACPI being disabled in BIOS, the Power Management drivers aren't installed (as stated above) or you uninstalled the ACPI Driver (which is not reversible and will require you to do a Repair install of Windows XP).
