1. when is it going to be widely available and it's price normalized?
2. is there any truth to the whole "rev 2.0" coming out?

1. Are you asking a rhetorical question?
2. Write Asus and ask them.

I bought one last week in Akihabara. I saw a pile of them at a couple of stores there at the abnormalized price. I can't see any evidence of a "rev 2.0" on the box or board or within the bios.

It's a great board and I didn't have any problems adding an X-FI to it either. 😉

thanks for the reply. =) it was only partly a rhetorical question.

i saw it over at PageComputers for 207 and they said it was in stock. don't really believe them though. Anyone want to go try and buy it?

glad the x-fi is working all right, thinking about putting one in there. what processor, ram are u using?

$207 is a deal compared to what I paid here.

I've got a 3500+ Winnie and 2gigs of OCZ EB Plat. and no problems for a change.

I got mine shipped here earlier this week. I LOVE the packaging it came in. I'm still waiting on my Opteron to arrive to give this bad boy a go.

I know it's out of subject, but do you guys have higher CPU temperature reading then what you had on your previous mobo? I do, it the same CPU aswell. I'm guessing it's most likely due to the heatpipe.
