I would like to ask a ? of anyone that has an Asus A7V8X-X mobo. A person is going to replace some memory and i would like to confirm if the board will take ecc registered memory. Asus website say non-ecc but would like to know if anyone is using ecc on their board.
 
If ASUS said no, then what is your question?

ECC is likely to work, just not in ECC mode as though it were non-ECC memory.

Try it and let us know.
