I just had something strange happen maybe someone can set my mind at ease. I just updated my bios on my a7v8x mobo with revision 1010 from version 1007. The main fix it had was that it was supposed to calibrate the cpu temp. Pretty cool I thought. But I got drastic change in my temp reading now. I am running a xp2400 processor overclocked to 2.16ghz fsb of 288. I usually at low cpu speeds ran about 96 F, after update it says I am only at 78 F, Hell my mobo is at 82 f. Is this strange to anyone else? or does anyone know of a quirk with this update? Any Ideas on how to verify actual temp? When overclocking I don't like having any doubt about what my temps are.
