I just purchased this mobo and after replacing it twice realized that this mobo is burning CPU!! Lost XP2400 and on the second one T-bird1.3, $200 in the hole later got A7N8X Deluxe, up and running without a glich. Anyone had bad experience with A7V333 ?? ...or it is just me ...😕

I had one for a long time and never had any issues with it. It sound to me like the overvoltage jumper was enabled on your boards...what was the CPU voltage in the BIOS?

The A7V333 was is one of the best KT333 boards made IMO.

Been running for a while, maybe a year now or close to it. Used an 1600+ and now a 2400+ without any problems....

I have found more people reporting a problem with this mobo. According to others, the problem started when ASUS moved the factory from Taiwan to China, their quality went down. So you lucky ones may have the "good quality". Also I have not changed anythig, jumpers,... on that mobo prior to instalation. The first time when I burned the XP2400 I had no idea what was happening, on the second replacement I used temperature sensor to measure the CPU and within 90-100 seconds of powering the system up,it was at 65 deg. Celsia !!! That was when my T-bird 1.3 went by-by. I had both CPU tested and confirmed DEAD by Fry's return center. They were nice and tested both mobo and CPU even I did not purchased the item from them.
