Asus A7V333 vs Abit KX7-333

Can I use PC2100 DDR on either board? I don't have $150 to buy new 512MB RAM for these boards, is there a noticeable increase in performance using PC2700 vs PC2100?

I will be using an AMD Ahtlon XP2100+ on the new board, but I'm having trouble deciding which to get.

I understand these are the most reliable KT333 mobos available?

My other interface cards:
Leadtek WinFast GeForce 3 standard
Creative SB Live 5.1 X-Gamer
Linksys NIC
ATI TV Wonder PCI

I have two ATA33 optical drives (toshiba 48x CD/16x DVD, Sony CD-RW) and a Maxtor D740X (ATA133) 40GB IDE hard drive.

I'm more concerned with reliability than overclocking capabilities.
Another plus would be on-board LAN and sound, becuase I can just build another computer with the KG7-RAID that I have.

BTW I don't have RAID so I won't absolutely need it.

Yes U can use ur PC2100 on both mobos. If ur ram is good enough I think that theres a chance to make it up to PC2700.
Also consider the Epox, nice mobos 8K5A2+ or even the 8K5A3+. They also hv LAN, audio 5.1, USB 2.0, and hv 1/5th PCI divider too.

Asus A7v 333 is an excellent board and will run both pc2100 or pc 2700
