Spec: -

XP 2200+
512MB Mushkin PC2700
GF4 TI 4600
TBSC soundcard
Maxtor 40GB HDD
Enlight 400W PSU
Chieftec Dragon casing

The problem : - The system will reset the bios everytime I turned the system off...off the power from the wall socket. But if I just turned off...leaving the wall socket switch "on"....then the bios settings will remain.

Done the following: -

1. Nope...not batt problem...coz changed a good working batt & still the same problem.
2. Swap a working Athlon 1GHz & put it in this mobo...same problem.
3. Try removing the raid card & connect IDE devices directly into the mobo...same problem.
4. Try running w/ only cpu,mobo,RAM & VGA card...same problem.

Hope u guys can help.

Does the CLR_RTC jumper have a cap on it? If so, take it off. This is the jumper just to the right of the battery. Some A7V333's may not have pins there, but mine does. Refer to page 28 of the manual if necessary.

U mean the Cmos clearing pin ? If yes, nope...NO cap on it. Any further advise ?
