Does it go up to 1/6?? I havent had the chance to put in the board yet, so just trying to get an idea of how far I'll be able to push my mushkin pc2700 cas2 🙂

i was under the impression that it wasn't the chipset that was limiting the pci divider but rather the implementation of it by the board manufacturer

My bad technogeeky, misread your post.

Here's a link that addresses this issue somewhat.

It would be nice if the pci clock could be locked like some of the P4 boards.

My post was unintentionally vague.

I have read a few reviews that are enthusiast-centered, and most of them show that the KT400 chipset does not, in fact, have a /6 divider.

Thus, at 200Mhz, you are pretty much at your limit.

the boards might not have been able to use a higher pci divider but the chipset can or atleast should be able to operate on any pci divider if implented to do so by the board manufacturer
yeah i doubt the reference boards circulating will have anything that makes enthusiast/overclockers happy like higher pci bus dividers
