Hello Everybody!

The little fan on my Mainboard (A7V 266-E) doesn't work anymore. My CPU is getting very hot ( 88° C) and my system is extremly unstable.

Now I know that ASUS Germany gives out free fans for replacement, but I live in Austria and ASUS seems to think that it is too much trouble to get me one of those fans.

What kind of fan do I need to purchase at the hardware store?

I also noticed that my PC is getting very dusty on the inside... could somebody give me some cleaning advice (air cans?)?

Thank you

Uhhh, not sure exactly what you are asking but if you CPU is getting up to 88 C, you've got some serious cooling problems. Is it the fan that is attached to the heatsink on the CPU that is broken? That's what it sounds like. If so, just measure it (you can do the same for any fan). If it is the one on the heatsink, it will be in the 60-80mm in size.
BTW, I wouldn't use it until you get that fan replaced. You are dangerously close to frying your cpu. Good Luck.
