Hey all,

I'm in the market of a new motherboard, and I'm torn between the two. Stability/compatibility is key. RAID is not important.

Let me hear it.

Thanks.

Hi Bartman,
Have you try to overclock your Asus A7V133 MOBO?
If so, how's overclockability?
Please LMK.
Thanks.

Yo go with the Asus A7V133, especially since stability is one of your main criteria. If the mobo market were like the SUV market, this sucker would be a hummer. It's solid, fast, and could probably kill the other boards if it ever went head on. LOL.

Its great in my experience... I run my 800 at 7x150 (1050).

If you read the GamePC roundup they even pulled all KT7 and KT7A from their stock and stopped carrying it due to extremelly high RMA rates...

<< These boards aren't perfect either though. We've had (and continue) to have issues with factory unlocked Athlon CPU's with the KK-266R board. On the other hand, we've already have had some serious RMA issues with the Abit KT7A-RAID boards (Not surprising folks, this is Abit) which have forced us to pull this off our company store shelves. Our Abit testing board seemed to work just fine, but over periods of time Abit boards seem to have shorter lifespans than other Athlon boards on the market. Pity. >>
