As you read, I have the AsusA7V133 motherboard with the 1007 bios. I have a Logitech Trackman Marble FX ps/2 mouse.
The problem:
I was in the middle of a Quake2 CTF game when my mouse went dead, at first I thought this was a game problem. When I quit back to windows I still had no mouse. I restarted my computer. Still no mouse. Check to make sure it was plugged in good and it was. To make sure it wasnt the mouse I plugged it to another computer I have and it worked find.
I tired plugging a usb mouse into the ps/2 socket using a adapter and while the light on the optical mouse came on, I still had no mouse in windows XP.
I thought maybe the plug went dead but my optical mouse lights up so Im not sure what the deal is.
Any ideas?
