Asus A7V133 & memory upgrade

Submit

Senior member
I am using an Asus A7V133 board with 1005a bios. Everything works well, and
I would like to purchase more memory. At the moment I have stick of generic
pc-133 256mb. The memory works well but I don't know if it is ECC or non
ECC, buffered or non-buffered CL2 or CL3 and so on. Is there any way I can
find these things out? I would like to get another stick of 256 that will be
compatible with this one. Any thoughts?

Thanks

I know Scisoft Sandra will give info like Cas latency about installed memory.

Since the A7V133 doesn't support registered or ECC modules, your memory is not of this type.

To get a compatible DIMM just go to Crucial and go through the selection process for your board.
