Asus A7V133, CPU, How high can she go?

With the A7V133 falling out of the lime light, I'm not seeing anything about how the new CPU's are doing on the older boards.
Whats the top end ?
Will the XP's run?
Very happy with the board.
But ready to move up the cpu speed.

I've got an Abit KG7 running also. with 1.2c. ddr, NICE!

But want to keep the ASUS 133 pumped up.
How high can she go?

Building these things is getting to be a lot of fun..
 
it will run all of the newer athlonxp cpu's 🙂

since its not a ddr board the performance will suffer some (xp's can make better use of memory bandwidth then tbirds did)


but... its still a good board and should kick some butt 😀

Yes.
 
In theory the A7V133 supports the Athlon XP, but a BIOS upgrade is needed. I don't make the update because I just change it for the A7V266-E.
