Hey guys,
I recently updated to version 1006 from www.socketa.com and ever since I have been having problems with my ram. The system will beep in an endless loop whenever I change the ram configuration to less than 384mb of ram. Nothing is wrong with keeping 384mb of ram in the system, the thing is, now I can't change my fsb to what it used to be (11 X 141) and can't seem to run the fsb higher than 120s, the system will just beep in the endless loop when I try. I have a stick of Crucial 128MB PC133 and a stick of Crucial 256MB PC133 and have tried to flashing back to older bios images (1004, 1005a, 1006i) and none have helped. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Wow, I'm not sure if it'll help but try calling the ASUS guys. I believe 1005a is the latest offical BIOS and the 1006 revision is in late-stage beta release currently. I guess you might have found one of the "bugs??"

I am using the 1004 also. Absolute stable and no problem whatsoever. Didnt even upgrade to 1005 heard that it 'slows down' your cpu to cool it down. But I dont need that feature.

I'm using the 1005a revision and it's great. I flashed from 1003_ to see if I could achieve a better overclock. I actually was able to get somewhat stable at 1466 but temps caused me to lower my clock speed back down to 1400. Also, I have no problems manipulating my core voltage since my BIOS flash.
