ASUS A7V133 and CPU limit

I have an ASUS A7V133 first revision, and according to ASUS website CPU Support chart it will only support up to an Athlon 1400, anything above(such as Athlon XP 1500-Palomino) requires rev. 1005 of the PCB.
I was wondering if anyone has tried useing a Palomino in the same board as I have, and how did it work out?
