My A7V will not work at all with a NIC and any version of a Microsoft OS. Everything else is great. I have an OC'd Duron 600@858. However even with no OC it still won't work. I have been forcd to use an USB Ethernet adapter, that sucks. But there is a Shocker to this saga.... The NIC works with any version of LINUX! (Long live Tux!) but i miss Win2K. PLease help!

What PCI slot do you have it in? I understand the A7V shares slot 2 with the onboard Promise controller, so sound cards and fast NIC's won't work in there.

I have tried it in every slot, with no other PCI card plugged in so that there would be no interference. Yet to no avail.

What sort of NIC are you using? Have you tried a different card? Also, what BIOS version are you using with your A7V, along with video card, etc.? I assume that since you have this setup working under Linux that Win. 2K is hanging on startup, or some such?
