Asus A7V. Should I update my bios?

I think it's the 100? d. I'm not at home right now so I'm not sure. I think they're up to 'e' now though eh? What are the advantages of upgrading the bios? Is it necessary? Would I get more accurate temp readings with the probe? thanks.
