Well, it finally happened. I was going back to an older version of the Asus A7V BIOS (v1.07) because I didn't like the stability with the 1.08 beta bios. I was using Asus Updater (the in-Windows BIOS updating program) which worked fine. It got all finished and told me to restart my computer, which I did, and now I have a really big problem. My computer powers up and the keyboard light flash (like always) but the monitor doesn't show anything (yes, it's on). I checked the computer with a different monitor, same problem. I used a different video card, same problem. I reset the BIOS and even tried unplugging the computer and taking out the BIOS battery (or whatever that small round battery is called). Nothing's worked so far. I don't have any beeps at all on startup either. Anyone have any suggestions or is part of my computer (I'm guessing the motherboard) just dead? Thanks a lot for any help you guys can give me!

I am NOT an expert, but I have had a similar problem before.
Does it sound like there is hard drive activity (like its loading Windows) and you are getting an NO INPUT message on monitor?

If so, then it could be that you Video card is NOT properly seated.

If you are not getting any hard drive activity, then you may have damaged the motherboard...
