Hie guys,
I have got some problems or should I say some diagnostics which are either unbelievable or crazy?? Alrite...here goes...
Firstly, I used the Sisoft2000 Millenium edition to give me a summary of my system and guess what was the AGP clock and the PCI clock?? 101Mhz for AGP and 51Mhz for PCI. Is that crazy or what?? All my applications are running fine and I don't get crazy images at all with my Creative GTS. I'm assuming that the AGP clock should be 2/3 of the FSB and the PCI clock is suppose to be 1/3 of the FSB rite??? WHy am I getting such reading? I do overclock my pc and am using 8.5X100 Mhz. That shouldn't have change the default divider rite? Sisoft reports that all my PCI and AGP slots are clocked too high. How can that happen??
Another thing. My ACPI/APM does not work under windows. I can only get the monitor to standby but not the Harddisk to power down or the system to enter standby mode automatically. There was an internal conflict somewhere regarding the PCI.vxd but under system, there were no conflicts reported and all my devices are working well. It used to work last time. What did I do?? I do have a NIC card and a SB live MP3 in it. I guess that the ACPI function does not like to share IRQ??
