Ok... my manual says I have an ASUS A7V E576. Jumper Free, PC 122/VC133, 200MHz FSB/ AGP pro?4x Socket A Motherboard. What is the fastest CPU I can put in it, with the latest BIOS flash, whatever that may be? Some mentioned this board probably only has a 100 FSB.. so what does the 200 FSB in the manual mean? Help! Please! 🙂 THANKS!

Probably an athlon 1400 with a 200MHz FSB.
Check asus.com to make sure.

Would you believe every link pertaining to this is a dead link? I remember hating their site when I researched the board a year and a half ago. 🙁

well... afaik it's not until they changed the naming to a7v133 that the boards had support for a 133MHz fsb. I would bet that any athlon with a 100MHz fsb will work fine and anything over won't. It's always nice to get positive confirmation before spending money though. Perhaps this page will help.

Good luck

Hey, thanks for all your help. Whats weird is, on the cover of my manual, it says 100 FSB. However, INSIDE the manual, it states 200 FSB.
