asus a7v-e motherboard cpu support

it doesnt list it on the asus site but as it is a kt13 chipset i wondered if a throughtbred b 2100+ which runs on the 133 fsb would work on thsi motherboard. if so i would bequeth my old t-bird b to him as he has this board.

Sorry Buddy, it doesn't look like it from here. I have the A7V133A and it does and it shows it does on the website. Yours looks like it is limited to AMD 1,400. Here is a link:

that's what i feared. i did recall reading about flashing to the latest bios meant it could take the athlon xps albeit running 100mhz...
oh well.
