ASUS A7V BIOS question??????????

This may be a stupid question but I just bought an ASUS A7V and an IBM 75gxp ATA-100. The problem is that I can't find a place in BIOS to make it boot to the HD. It boots to the floppy and then the CD-Rom. When I go to IDE under BOOT in the BIOS, the only ckoices I have are NONE and Disable. What do I need to do?
Thanks for any feedback!

OK I had to reboot to look in my BIOS. Here's what you need to do. Plug the ribbon cables from the IBM drives into the ATA66 connector(not the Promise connector) and boot. Now when you go into BIOS(boot menu) you should see that your drives is detected. Once you get everything working then install the driver for the Promise controller. Now put the ribbon back to the Promise connector. Everything should work now.

That did not work. It did recognize the HD when I plugged it into the ATA-66, but when I went back to ATA 100, it did the same thing it was doing before. I already had the Promise drivers loaded.

you have to adjust "boot device priority" and enable "ATA100 boot first"

both are in the boot section of your bios..

GOT IT!! It seems so obvious now but I was having some trouble figuring it out. Thanks alot guys. I appreciate the info.
