No problems so far. My system seems a little faster (flashed from 1005c)

Still to see an A7V Bios to beat juggernaut's hacked/modded 1003e? - especially for Durons.

This is a big improvement over 1004c that I was running. I dropped several degrees C in CPU temp as well as booting faster. (for some reason 1005's were not stable on my machine) My totally un-scientific observations indicate better overall performance. I also updated to the latest 4-1 drivers as well. No crashes after several days including plenty of surfing and some gaming on UT.

I wonder if any of the "real" tech-ies out there have charted the tempatures and benchmarks using the different bios versions? It would be interesting to see the results quantified objectively.

any bios from asus after 1004 has the halt commands removed by asus so in effect your CPU is running at full throttle 100% of the time. there is registry hack to fix it, just look for my post from earliar today on how to do it. my temps went form 44/111 to 33/91 by doing this.

Hi,

I updated my A7V BIOS into 1007 last night. The system seems better than 1004D (beta). In my opinion, booting performance has been increased. Try it.
