Asus A7V Bios 1005c

I downloaded the 1005c bios for the a7v yesterday and flashed it using the windows program they have now. After I finished that, I rebooted and my Duron 750 which was running at 950, 1.75 v wouldnt even post. I clocked it back to 750 and reset the bios, and then put all the settings I had been using before back in. It still wouldnt post at 950, but would at 900. So I went back to the asus site today and downloaded the 1004c bios, which I had been running before. Incidentally, they no longer link it from any page, but they still have it on their ftp sites. But I flashed back down to 1004 c and was able to post @950mhz fine.. Anyone else have similar problems or know what could be doing this?

I've had problems with 1005. I heard that the 1005 was for board revisions 1.04 and later, otherwise stick with 1004. Thats all I know.

Asus is famous for the disappearing bios files. I tried the 05c and I couldn't post either, so I went back to 1004d. I only flash when necessary, and check their site occasionally to see how long the latest flash has been posted.
