Asus A7V Bios 1003 vs. 1004 temperature investigated!

Hi Forum !

To make a long story short : 1004 absolutely, definitely, positively runs hotter than 1003.

I measured today with an industrial temperature probe. To be sure to get the temperature right i would not rely on the onboard sensor. The results were quite stunning.

While idle :

1003 : 28°C
1004 : 44°C

Full load : 48°C for both

(duron 700 @ 900 Mhz - 1,73V - ChromeOrb Heatsink&Fan)
